Love Within My Heart

This week has been great!

We were able to get two new investigators, and we are able to confirm our baptism for this Saturday! We are so excited for Liz, and her decisoion to be baptized! She passed her interview last week. And I have to admit neither my companion, and I have ever had so much time to prepare for a baptism! Ha ha, in Sister Davis' last area she met a guy, and he was baptized ten days later. I met this man on exchanges, and he is amazing! People are out there, who are prepared! We just need help through prayer, and diligence in finding them, and we need to pray that they will find us!

I am really greateful for this past transfer! We are getting transfer calls this next week. and I am really hoping that our area will stay standing. We are going from thirty-two sisters to twenty-seven. So they may be closing down some sister areas. But we are hoping that ours will remain open, and when I say closing, I mean combing. But when that happens you usually loose a companion, I kind of love this companion of mine. We're pretty much best friends. We are changing Winnipeg for the better, through the Lord's help have never felt so motivated in my mission! Well I have, but been able to do so much. It is super good to have such a great strong relationship with the the Lord. When we all have the same desire the Lord puts us to work!  I am so grateful for that!

This past week we were getting hot chocolate, I mean its Canada- it gets pretty cold. Some man asked us if we were nuns, ha ha. That's pretty much my most favorite question ever! :) He was really great, but he wasn't interested in learning about the truth quite yet, but hopefully someday.

I was also studying in "Preach My Gospel" and "True to the Faith" this morning on Hope. I mean good gravy! That is some pretty good stuff. I loved that it word that Hope is to act, that's what really stuck out to me.So, I am acting! And I pray that I may stay worthy of the Lord's trust in me, and that I may have love within my heart, that will direct others to come unto Christ.

Congratulations to My Dad and Carole for the announcement of their wedding which will be happening August 6th. I am happy the them.  I am proud of their decision to be married in the temple!

We also had a less active say the opening prayer at sacrament! She is working really well on making herself a completely active member of the church! Another less active sister has been coming pretty regularly now for about three weeks! Her granddaughter is deaf! She is oral, but knows a little sign, We are going to start teaching her this next week! We are so happy! Jay is just amazing! We are helping her prepare hopefully for a baptism in April! The Lord is giving us so many tiny miracles, like safe driving, finding people, giving us the right words to say, and the right time! I am so grateful for Him, and the love He gives us. I mean, I gave a lesson yesterday about the "Creation" In Gospel Principals, and man, oh man. I needed His help so bad! People even participated- like a ton! So the Lord always holds true to His promises!
Oh, and I am going to be working on laughing more sincerely, and more often!

I love you all so much!

I love my family, and thank you all so much for all for your love, and support! I am really excited for this next week! I hope that we are going to have a great week!

He Loves You, You Are His Child

I am so grateful for all that yo do, and all of the support that you give to me, and to the other missionaries out here. We are all part of Hastening the Work! I am so grateful for members support.

This past week has been a pretty good week, but we all have rough patches. With things going on out here in the field that can be a little difficult. But I know that my Savior loves me. That He is my support. I am so grateful for a talk that I read this past morning. "Believing Christ" It is different than Believing in Christ. I would love for you all to put your insights that you receive from either hearing the title, or from reading the talk. It is pretty amazing! Also I am really grateful for my companion and all that she does. She is just like amazing and I love her so much ha ha. We're making it more of a goal to take pictures.. and my camera has been dead for basically this entire transfer... :P ha ha, anyway I will be charging it soon... ;)

Anyway I want to share with you a miracle. Yesterday a less active who was recently reactivated asked Sister Davis and I to go with her when she received her Patriarchal blessing. The spirit was so strong there. If you haven't received, don't know, or haven't read your blessing in a while I invite you to. They are so amazing, the spirit that comes when you read them Is amazing! God truly knows us and knows all of his children.

I have to go. But this week we are looking forward to growing and expanding our teaching pool. As we have now formed a lot  our investigators. :( But we are looking forward to the future. And we are both really love singing did I mention that? We did a number on hymn 26 it was pretty good. Maybe we'll video it,and send it pretty soon! ;) I.D.K. ha ha,

I love you, thanks you for all that you do. In both your service for me, and of course your service to the lord. He loves you, you are His child.

Went to Ontario!

This past week was super exciting,we went down to MN, and I went to Ontario! Oh yeah! It was the best!

I saw only three deer- like what the...? And just sayin' the American side of the border, literally at the border, was way prettier, and the roads were paved on the American side too. Not paved, but cleaned up,  plowed- plowed is the word I am looking for ;) Anyway, I was so happy. The people were nice. #imissamerica #youcansmellthefreedom I love it down there. I only have about 6 months left til I am home.. but mm mm, mm missions last forever right?

I am so grateful for all of those who email me, and support me, in so many different ways. I am so grateful for my companion she has a lot to put up with being my companion. I love her so much! Anyway, sorry I don't have any photos. My camera died, and I haven't had time to charge it.. well I have. I mean, I could put it up at night. I've always forgotten about it. Anyway I have to go now. But I love you all. And I want you to know that I love the Lord. I truly do. I know that He has a plan for each of us, and we just need to seek out the hand of the Lord in our lives. I love you all so much!

Pray for the Larson Family

So super duper crazy I hit my year mark this week! #Sierrayou'regoingtobeagreatmissionary #itgoesbysofast

So this past week was super good, we were able to finish the Book of Mormon and that was amazing, and a miracle in it's self. While we read the Book of Mormon together out loud as a companionship. We felt the spirit so strong! It was crazy though because we didn't go outside much... because it was sooo cold! ;) Our mission president advises us not to go outside once the wind chill reaches -40....but we just make sure we have set appointments :) Because we can still go to those!

Anyway back to the Book of Mormon, my testimony grew a lot of the Atonement, and of the temple. I am so grateful our Savior, and that we're able to learn of Him daily, and apply His atonement into our lives.

We have seen so many miracles it's crazy!

We haven't died in the crazy road conditions, we had Mission Leadership Council, we had the Saskatoon S.T.L. stay with us. Jerry the Moose hasn't made a reappearance, and we haven't found anything in our traps.. #ohmanhopewedon'thavemice!, er were able to have so many good lessons with our Less Actives, and three came to church! And we have this one investigator who's still a potential who came, We just need to set up a return appointment. She has gone through a ton in her life. And she needs the comfort, and love that our Savior Jesus Christ offers us. She just doesn't know how to reach out and grab what's right in front of her. And I am so blessed to be in the front row seat of watching the children of God apply the Atonement into their lives!
I have great winter gear! Thank you again family and friends! I have this amazing scarf that protects myself from the wind!  We have a plug for our car that works! #itgetssocoldwehavetoplugourcarbatteriesintoanelecricalsocettsotheydon'tfreeze! They have the outlets right in the paring lot! And cords that stick out of our hoods! well.. the car's hood. Not mine.                                Fahrenheit
Today is only -33 wind chill which is about -27.4 in
We also had M.L.C. this past week and that was super good, we discussed our mission vision, and our baptismal goal. I will let you know what that number is next week! It's going to be so good! I am so excited for our mission and that I have another 6 months to be here! I love it soooo much! Did I mention how great my companion is!? She is absolutely wonderful I love her so much!
I love this ward too, and I am excited to serve here. This might be my last area, and that is crazy, ha ha!

Anyway I love the Lord, and I know that this work is true! Thank you so much for all of our love, and your support! It's crazy how fast time is going by. And How much the Lord loves us!

P.S. If you can pray for the Larson family. They are a family I grew to be close to in Moose Jaw. Brother Larson has cancer. And They're having a rough time. :( What a blessing to know that the Plan of Salvation is real, that we are loved by our Heavenly Father. And that death is only a temporary thing. Because of our Savior He makes it all possible. I love you all! Have a great day!
